The internet is a place where you can learn many things, read an article, or express your opinion in a matter of mere minutes. With such easy access to the internet and television, this means that the consumption of media online is also easy and will continue to grow as the means of technology progresses. This idea of easily accessible content is usually seen as a good thing, but in terms of political media coverage, it should be consumed with caution.

When we talk about the media in terms of politics the mind can wander to many places; Twitter, CNN, ABC, FOX,  or even CBS. This is because in the society we live in on a day-to-day basis, everything that is covered by the news outlets can be brought back to some sort of political stance. Politics are seen as one of the most important ideas one can possess in the divided world of 2021. Upjourney.com states that political stances are becoming second nature to young adults. Every person's background and life story differs from the next. This means that their opinions and ideas can differ too as well as their stance in politics. Most people get their information about politics from a source that falls in line with their political beliefs. Major media outlets tend to either remain as Switzerland or take a side in hopes to attract consumers. The stance in which a company takes on an issue whether it be political or not is what we call Media Bias.

In the media world, the people who fall well within the conservative views would most likely their information from places like the New York Post, Fox, The Federalist, or The Washington Times. Someone who considers themselves a liberal or falls within the left side of the political chart would consume their news from CNN, NBC, The New York Times, or NPR. To find more information about which news outlet follows where take a look at the media bias chart on www.allsides.com. 1. This is great insight, I think I agree with the fact that it is so common for people to think that when you are discussing the media it is automatically associated with social media. This can cause some bias and other problems with the credibility of certain news sources. For instance, Snapchat and Instagram have news but how credible is it really?
I like how you gave examples or credible ethical sources.
